So today was my little girl's first day of school.
I was soooo proud of her.
She walked in that room this morning with her head held high.
You couldn't tell her anything.
I look forward to what this year has in store.
On top of now being in school, she is also taking dance.
So I'm a busy mom.

I use to be scared to voice my beliefs but with things happening lately I've just stop worrying about it as much. We are all entitled to our own and so am I. So as I reflect on this years harvest I realize that on Samhain I will have a lot to celebrate. This year has been a very trying one.

Just a little tidbit. Nothing special really.

It's been almost 4 years now that I started tagging. I stumbled onto it by accident, really I did. It unlocked a world of items and people I never knew existed before. My world was changing and I was looking for someone to connect with. Cafemom gave me this and much much more. It unlocked a world of women. Some I connected with others I didn't. Some I will never forget and some that I can't live without.

A dream I had early on, one I thought would never be possible, started to rise. I loved taggin so much. It gives me a place to escape, to think, to vent. I need it, especially with my life as it is. I saw kits and said, hey I could do that. I wanted to make them from the start but never thought I could actually do it. So many rules, so many issues. I just put the thought off.

It took me a while but I finally learned the ins and outs and started playing around. Soon I was hooked. It was easier than I thought. Thanks to Creative Misfits I've been able to make more. To practice kit making and show it off. Now Aussie Scrap Designs has given me the chance to finally get my dream. I am officially in a store. Not sure how it will go but I'm doing it.

So many people told me that I was doing nothing but wasting time. That this was foolish. That I was irresponsible and blah blah blah. You know what. Whatever. I'm over it. I let you pull me down. I let you squash my dream because it wasn't something they thought was 'acceptable'. But I am doing it now. I'm on my way to standing on my own two feet.

Thanks guys for letting me vent.

Hello everyone. I don't know how many are still around or how many of you stalkers are new to the Mania. So let me start this off by saying Hi and Welcome. I hope you are finding everything you might need. If not please shoot me an email. I would love to hear from you. All links have been updated. So anything you want to download you should be able to. I've re-zipped and re-uploaded them all.

To my old dependable stalkers, some of you probably have noticed that I've not been around. Well there are a number of reasons for that. I hate to bring the drama out but I want to let you guys know I did have a very good reason for going MIA for a while.

Since January I've been working as a Tax Preparer. As the deadline here in the US for taxes approaches I'm working more and more. So my free time is very limited which sucks on that note alone but add in the fact that my husband of 10 years decided he wasn't happy any longer. So on top of working my butt off I've been moving back in with my mom along with my 3 year old daughter. Things are starting to calm down again so I'm hoping to be back more soon.

I know I've let a number of you guys down and for that I'm sorry. For those who have stuck around, thanks. That means more to me than anything I can say. I know I don't talk much but I am always here. I look forward to creating new things and talking with everyone. I will be looking to join some more CT in the near future. I look forward to joining some awesome teams.

Delete copyright layer and background

Re-size canvas to 800 x 800, we will crop and re-size later

Open a blank canvas, flood fill with a color from your tube

Highlight raster 2

Copy and paste the new fill as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Move this below the original raster 2 layer

Change the blend mode to overlay, then merge down, change the name back to Raster 2

Highlight raster 3

Open paper 10, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none and merge down

Open close up of tube

Highlight raster 3 again

Copy and paste close up as a new layer, adjust the tube to your preference, Invert and delete

Change blend mode to Luminance (L) and Opacity to 52%

Open love stamp, re-size it by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, add a slight drop shadow if desired

I merged the 4 circle into one layer, you can do the same or go your own way with the next few steps

Highlight the 4 circles

I chose a gradient with a color from my tube and black, it sort of looked like this

Now apply Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation using the following settings

Open heart 02, copy and paste as a new layer

Move this layer to the bottom

Open doodle, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as example of placement

Apply a gradient glow using the following settings

Open Ribbon 05, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement, apply a drop shadow if you like

Open heart 05, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement

Repeat heart 05 steps

Crop your image to your preferences

Re-size so that it's no larger than 650 on its longest side

Add anything else you would like

Add copyright

Save as PNG file.

Open butterflies, re-size by 80%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move this layer above the rectangles layer

Open cloud

Copy and paste as a new layer, move this layer below the butterflies

Open diamond-button, re-size by 25%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move this to the lower left corner of the frame

Duplicate the diamond-button, mirror

It should look like my tag, might have to adjust it slightly

Merge buttons together

Duplicate again, flip

This time you should have a button at each of the 4 corners of the frame

Merge down so all 4 of them are on one layer

Make sure your cloud and butterflies layers are above the buttons

Open tube of choice

Copy and paste as a new layer

Open rose-bead, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move it to the middle of the frame

Use mine as example

Open Tears, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, apply a slight drop shadow of choice

Duplicate||Mirror||Merge down

Move this layer below the cloud layer

Crop image to your preference

Add any other element of your choice

Add copyright layer

Save as PNG file

Open Frame 1, copy and paste as a new layer

Select the Frame layer

Use your magic wand and click inside the frames

Selections||Modify||Expand

Open paper 6

Copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Move this below the frame layer

Select Frame layer again

Apply a drop shadow of your choosing

However I used the following settings

-2, 3, 50, 0.00, black

Then I applied another one using

2, -3, 50, 0.00, black

Open tube of choice, I have one with a close up

Select the frame background

Copy and paste tube close up, invert & delete, select none

Copy the tube layer

On the bottom one change the opacity to 50%

On the top one, change the blend mode to Luminance (L)

Open Piano

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as an example of placement

Open Wire

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as an example of placement

Move this layer to the bottom layer

Open disco 2, re-size by 75%

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as an example of placement

Open ribbon 3, re-size by 30%

Copy and paste as a new layer

I did mine so that it was seen right about the bottom of the frame

Move it below the frame, now duplicate and move the copy above

One the top one, use your eraser to delete any that is seen on the frame itself

Open Skullcap

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as an example of placement

Open Scattered Notes

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as an example of placement

Make sure it is below the tube layer

Now apply a slight gradient glow to it using the following setting

Crop image, re-size so that it's no longer than 650 on it's longest side

Add any other element of your choosing

Add copyright layer

Saved as PNG file

This will give you plenty of extra room and we will re-size later.

Highlight the Square layer

Open paper 2, copy and paste as a new layer, invert & delete, select none & merge down

Highlight the Hearts layer

Open paper 8, copy and paste as a new layer, invert & delete, select none & merge down

Open tube of choice and copy and paste as a new layer.

Place it on the top layer, but sort of in the middle of the tag

Use mine as example.

Using #808080 as your color

Flood fill the square frame layer

Apply a noise using the following settings

Now, select heart frames layer and repeat the steps above to it

Open butterfly 02, Re-size it by 20%, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement.

Open lovebug_line, Re-size it by 20%, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement.

Now apply a drop shadow using the following settings

Open lovebug_flower07, Re-size it by 10%, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement, there will be 2 of them

Open lovebug_bow01, Re-size it by 15%, copy and paste as a new layer

Use my tag as example of placement

I moved my word-art a little to make room for the bow

Select the flourish layer, I applied a slight black gradient glow and a drop shadow

However this same effect came come from Drop shadowing a couple of times

Select the word-art layer, make sure this is the on the top layer

Apply a gradient glow using the following settings, then apply a slight drop shadow

Crop your image to your liking

Make sure it is not longer than 650 on its longest side

Now add any other element of your choosing

Now add copyright layer

Save as PNG file.

Open Frame 1, shift D to duplicate

Re-size canvas to 800 x 800, will crop it later

Highlight the frame layer then select none

With your magic wand, click in the center of the frame

Now, go to selections, modify, expand

Use the following settings

Open paper 7, copy and paste as a new layer, inverte and delete, select none

Now move this below the frame layer

Select the frame layer, apply a drop shadow using the folling settings

Open tube of choice, place it below the frame layer

Duplicate it and bring copy above frame then hide it

On duplicate layer, erase any part of the tube that is hanging over the frame.

Open Peppermint 2, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as placement, make sure it is below the teddy bear and your tube

Open Christmas Ball 2, re-size by25%, copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as placement

Using a font of choice, I used Infant, type out Holiday Treats

Use my tag as example of placement

Crop image to your preference, re-size so that its no longer than 650 on the longest side

Add any other element of your chosing

Move the Bitch word-art from behind your tube and merge the two word-art layers into one

Flood fill the word-art with a dark color, I used black

Apply a gradient glow using the following settings

Apply a drop shadow using the following settings

Open Crown, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as example of placement

Using the settings above, apply a drop shadow, repeat

Open Mask, re-size by 75%

Copy and paste as a new layer, use my tag as example of placement

Open Reindeer 1, re-size by 75%

Copy and paste as a new layer, position using my tag as an example

In a font of your choice, type a holiday greeting

For mine I used LaBrit font and typed Happy Holiday

Using a color from my tag as my foreground and black as my background

Now apply a Gradient Glow of choice, but see below for my settings

Now apply a drop shadow, see my settings below

Add a blank new layer as the very bottom layer

Flood fill this with a color from the tag

Apply mask, merge group

Repeat those steps with a different color

Now move the second layer so that the two masks are not on top of each other

Crop you image as you like and re-size making sure it's no larger that 650 on the longest side

Add name and any other item that you would like.

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.
Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the liquor.. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Not a lot of people know this.

Hello Maina Stalkers. With a very heavy heart I post this.

On Sunday, November 21, 2010, my mother-in-law Betty Wilson passed away. She has been extremly sick for a very long time.

For as long as I've known her she had a very bad heart. But for the past few years it has gotten worse. Most of this year she has spent it either in a Rehab or a hospital. We all knew that she woudln't surive the year. Watching her suffer took a toll on my husband and myself. So it's nice to know that she is finally at peace.

I don't have any pics I can post here. I might have to search to find some. I just wanted to share this with you all.

As my last rite for her I pass this to her:

Time has passed, the Wheel has turned.
It is time for me to move on.
I will walk hand in hand with the Ancient Ones,
and with my ancestors who came before me.

Great Mother, welcome me back into your womb,
I come to you and know I am blessed,
for my life has been one I am proud of.
As I enter your world, wrap me in your loving arms,
and welcome me.

Lord of Death, I wait for you to take me,
I come to you willingly, with eyes wide open,
as my last moment approaches on the horizon.
May I look upon you without fear, without pain,
and knowing that those who walked before me,
await me on the other side.

O Ancient Ones, give me strength to take these final steps,
and allow me to do so with peace and dignity.
Let my family mourn my passing but not my loss,
and let them heal knowing I will see them again.
Time has passed and the Wheel has turned.

Making sure that the bottom tube image is the one you are on, invert and delete, select none

Now more the tube copy to the top layer, un-check the visibility, now you will see the tube again

Open Skateboard 2, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer, position toward the bottom of the tag

Open paper 9, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Open Harvest wordart, copy and paste it as a new layer, move toward the bottom of the frame

Add a drop shadow using the following settings

Open Pilgrim 1, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste this as a new layer below the harvest layer

Open Pilgrim Girl, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste this as a new layer below the harvest layer

Merge the two layers together, now duplicate the layer and move it above the harvest layer

Using your eraser, erase the dolls until only their arms are on top of the harvest layer

Use my tag as an example

Open stock photo, re-size it down until its no longer than 500 on the longest side

Highlight frame layer again, select none

With your wand, click on the center of the frame

Copy and paste stock image, invert and delete, select none

Change your Blend Mode to Luminanace (L)

Open bow 3, re-size by 75%, copy and paste as a new layer, move to the top of frame

Crop image to your liking, re-size so that its no longer than 650 on the longest side

Add any other elements you would like

Add copyright layer

Save as PNG file

Open Tag 2, re-size by 75%, copy and paste as a new layer, move it to the corner of frame

Highlight Frames Layer, choosing a color from your tube, flood fill the layer

Now apply noise using the following settings.

Open Binder Clip 2, resizy by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer, move so that it appears that the clip is actually clipped onto the frame

Duplicate and mirror

Open Doodle 1, copy and paste as a new layer, duplicate and mirror

You want them to look somehting like this

Merge down and move to the bottom layer

Add any other elements you would like

Crop image to your liking

Add name, I rotated the name using the following settings

Re-size so that it is no longer that 650 pixels on the longest side

Don't forget to add your copyright

Save as PNG file

Open a blank canvas, 800 x 800, we will crop and re-size later

Open RR_Frames4, copy and paste as a new layer, change the name of that layer to frame

Activate this layer by going to Selections, select all, float and de-float, select none

Now take your magic wand and click inside of the frame, on both sides

You should now have marching ants on the inside of the frame

Selections, modify, expand, use the settings below

Open paper 8

Copy and paste it as a new layer above the frame, invert and delete, select none

Move it below frame layer, change name to frame background

Open a closeup of tube of choice

Click off the visibility of the frame background

Repeat steps above for highlight the inside of frame

With your magic wand select one side of the frame

Copy and paste tube, invert and delete, select none

Now repeat these steps with the other side

On one of your sides change the opacity to Lumianance (L) and the other to Luminance

Change the opacity to 75%

Merge the two layers into one layer,

Open main tube and place in the middle of the frame, use my tag as an example

Open Bow3, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move it toward the top of frame

Open Tag, re-size by 50%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move it so that it is below the bow layer, use my tag as example

Open Potion, re-size by 25%

Copy and paste as a new layer, move it toward the bottom of the right side

Duplicate and move one bottom behind the other, use my tag as example

Open Flower1, move to bottom layer, Duplicate

Now move the duplicate layer to the top layer

Take your eraser and erase the stem on the top layer

This will give the look of the flower blossom being on-top of the frame

Apply a drop shadow using the following settings

Repeat

Highlight the tube inside the frame layer

Open Sparkle2, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Crop your image.

Now add your copyright

Add anything else you would like

Re-size total image no larger than 650 on the longest side

Save image as a png file.

Well I thought I would give all of you guys an update on what is going on in my personal life. Today I started Tax School thru Jackson Hewitt. There is no guarantee that I will have a job but there is a very strong possibility. We could really use the extra money. I hate working and leaving Alyssa but we really need the money.

Today was a good day. Long and filled with a lot of information but good still. I had a great time in class. There are only 6 of us. So that makes for a small class. This means a better opportunity of having a job in the end. I'm sorry that others can't take the class but am ecstatic that I can.

Well that's about all I can think of at the moment. I'm going to head to bed. So until next time.

Open Sparkles, re-size by 75%, copy and paste as a new layer below main tube

Duplicate, then flip, you might have to move them around a little bit until satisfied

Open Calla Lilies 1, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer above the candle layer

Open Button Ribbon 1, flip, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer

Crop image to your preference

Add any other elements of your choosing

Re-size, make sure that your image isn't longer than 650 wide

Add copyright

Save as PNG file

Now Promote this to a layer and select none

Now its time to apply MuRa's Meister Copies, use my settings

Copy the new word screen layer and paste in a new canvas, just for safekeeping

Delete the copy on your canvas and highlight the Pink Circle Layer again

Now go to the canvas that your screen is in and copy it

Paste it as a new layer on over the pink circle layer, invert and delete, select none

Open Doodle 3, copy and paste as a new layer, move layer to the bottom of the tag

Open Button5, copy and paste as a new layer, position it on top layer, use my tag as an example

Duplicate Button and mirror

Add any other elements or tubes of your liking

Crop image and re-size to no larger than 650 wide

Add copyright

Save as PNG file

Open Cloud Baby Girl, re-size by 75%, copy and paste below frame layer but above paper layer

Repeat same steps with cloud baby boy element

Highlight frame layer again select none

Click on center frame and expand using settings as before

Open paper 4, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Open Bassinet4, re-size it by 30%, copy and paste it as a new layer under the frame layer

Add a drop shadow using the following settings

Repeat

Add a drop shadow to the frame itself as well

Open Alpha Beads4, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as new layer above the frame, place them on the girl side

Open Alpha Beads1, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as new layer above the frame, place them on the boy side

Open Cute flower5, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as new layer above the beads, place them on the girl side

Open Cute flower1, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as new layer above the beads, place them on the boy side

Now you can delete the black background

Using Chopin Script, or a cursive type Waiting On Our Little Bundle

Open Bucket of Leaves, re-size by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer

Position in the lower right corner, duplicate and move till its beside the first one.

Open Leaf Branches, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer

Position it at the top of tag but move it below the circle layer

Open Mushroom, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer

Position toward the bottom on the left, use my tag as example

Open Wheelbarrow, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer

Mirror and move below the Mushroom layer, use my tag as example

Now add your tube of choice, I placed mine below the baskets

Crop to your liking and re-size no bigger than 650 wide

Add any other elements and name.

Add copyright layer.

Save as PNG file.

Open a new canvas, 800 X 800

Open Double Rose Frame, copy and paste as a new layer

You want the centers of the frame highlight, so to do this you have to Highlight the frame, then select none

Then take your magic wand and click in the center of the frame

Now to expand, Selections//Modify//Expand

Use the following settings

Open paper 1, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none

Now move the paper layer under the frame layer

Now I chose 2 different close ups from the same artist, you can use the same tube or 2 different but they have to be the same artist

You have to highlight light the frame background, add the top tube

Copy and paste the tube of choice, invert and delete, select none

Repeat the above steps with the bottom frame

Now lets change the blend modes of the tubes before we move on

Duplicate top frame image, change the blend mode to soft light and the opacity to 70%, then merge down

Now repeat those steps for the bottom frame tube as well

Open Heart Bling String and copy and paste it as a new layer

Move the string to one side of the frame and add a drop shadow using the following settings

Now Duplicate the sting and mirror, so there is a string on both sides

Open Rose Candle 1 and re-size by 40%, copy and paste it as a new layer

Move it to the bottom of the image, mirror add a drop shadow with the settings from above

Open Tag and re-size it by 75%, copy and paste it as a new layer

Move it to the top of the image add a drop shadow with the settings from above

Open Awareness Ribbon, re-size it by 50%, copy and paste it as a new layer

Move it to the middle of the image add a drop shadow with the settings from above

Add any of elements of your choosing.

Now crop your image

Lets make the image a tad smaller, so re-size it to 499 X 700

Now add your copyright and save as a PNG file.

Open template, shift D to duplicate, close out original

Change the canvas size to 800 X 800 to give more room, we will crop later

Delete the copyright layer

For the time being just minimize the dot layer,

Highlight Layer Raster 2

Open Paper 1, copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete, select none, merge down

Now take 4 colors from the puzzle layer and flood fill each of the dots with this color

Look at my tag as example

Now apply a drop shadow with the following settings to each circle

Now apply Fritillary using the following settings to each circle

Highlight Raster 4 and flood fill it black

Now apply the same Fritillary as above, repeat

Highlight Raster 3

Now choose 2 colors to make a gradient with, I chose a silver for my foreground and black for my background

Apply the following settings to the gradient

Open the two boy elements, resizing both by 75%

Copy and paste each as a new layer and position them beside each other

Open Big Bow, re-size by 60%

Copy and paste it as a new layer, positioning it at the bottom of the tag

Open Chimp element, copy and paste it as a new layer, positioning it over the circles, apply Drop Shadow using above settings

Open Monkey element, Re-size by 40%

Copy and paste as a new layer, positioning at the bottom right of the image, add the Drop Shadow of above

Crop image to your liking, and re-size it to 650 X 530

Since we didn't use a tube, you must credit the scrap kit so for this one it would be

For font like mine, I used Impact

For the foreground I used black and for the background I used Paper 1 set on 25%

Highlight the White Rectangle Frame

Open paper 18, copy and paste as new layer, invert and delete, select none

Now add a little Frilliaty to it, using the following settings

Open Music Notes 1, copy and paste as new layer, add a drop shadow using the following settings

Open Star 1, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer

Using my tag as an example of placement, move the star, duplicate it and move the second one beside the first

Open Star Ribbon 2 and re-size it by 50%, copy and paste as new layer

Rotate it by going to Image//Rotate//Free Rotate

Use the following settings

Move ribbon to top left

Cope image to your liking

Open Wire 2

Copy and paste it as a new layer at the bottom of the tag, move till its where you like

Duplicate layer then flip, moving the second till its in the location of your choosing.

Add anything else you would like

Make sure to add your copyright

Then save as a PNG file

Highlight frame, the select none.

Expand the insides by going to selections, modify, expand,

Open Paper 11, copy and paste it as a new layer, invert and delete, merge down

Move this layer below the frame layer

Open tube

Highlight the inside of the frame layer like we did above, but this time only do the right side

Copy and paste the closeup of tube as a new layer, invert and delete

Change the Blend mode to Luminance (L) and duplicate

On this layer change the blend mode to Soft light

Merge layer down into the plaid layer one at a time, starting with the first closeup layer

Copy and paste tube on new layer on top, position it to the left of the frame

Open Glittertrail, re-size by 75%

Copy and paste it as a new layer, move it to the top of the frame under the tube layer

Open Splash Bubble, copy and paste it as a new layer, positioning it under the frame layer

Open Badges 2, re-size it by 50%

Copy and paste it as a new layer, move it to to the top right hand corner over the frame layer

Crop your image and re-size it to 650 X 556

Add any extras you would like.

Highlight the photo layer again

Copy and paste new tube over the left boxes, positioning to your liking

Invert and delete, select none

Change the blend mode to Luminance (L) and Opacity down to 44%

Now, duplicate this layer and mirror, this should fill your right boxes

Merge both new layers into the Photo layer, one at a time

Open Basket Flower, re-size by 40%, copy and paste as a new layer, position in lower right coroner

Open Pumpkin 1, re-size by 40%, copy and paste as a new layer, position in lower left coroner

Open Flower3. re-size by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer, position in top left corner

Open Twig, copy and paste as a new layer, potion in top right corner

Open Bow, re-size by 50%, copy and paste as a new layer, position over top of twig

Crop your image, giving a little more room at the bottom for name

Using a color in your tag you like, I used an orange, as your foreground and black as background, write out the name

Re-size tag to 650 X 542

Add your copyright and save as png file.

Open Bead Heart String 1, re-size it by 30%, copy and paste it as a new layer, move to the side under the bow

Open Word 2, re-size by 30%, copy and paste it as a new layer, move it to the lower left side

Position it by the tubes left hand, but over it

Now duplicate your tube and move one copy above it

Now we are going to fix it so that her hand looks like its coming out he middle of the lips

While on the top tube layer, take your eraser and erase the part of the tube that is over the top half of the word-art

Do this until satisfied.

Now add any other elements or Drop shadow of choice.

Crop just around your tag image and re-size down to 650 X 499.

Now add your name and copyright

Save as PNG file.

Now apply a little noise, use the settings below

Highlight the layer labeled Raster 2, its the pink rectangle

Flood fill it with the same color that you did your word-art

Open tube of choice and copy and paste it as a new layer, bringing it to the top layer

Open Purple Ribbon, re-size it by 50%

Copy and paste it as a new layer below the word-art layer, use tag for example

Open Purple Hanging Heart Charm, re-size it by 50%

Copy and paste it as a new layer, use tag for example

Open Purple Heart Bow Charm, re-size it by 50%

Copy and paste it as a new layer, use tag for example

Now, take a copy of your original tube or choose another, from the same artist

Highlight the oval layer, paste your tube in this oval, moving it to your choosing, invert and delete. Select none

Change the blend mode on the newly place tube to Luminance (L)

Change Visibility to 60%

You can delete the dotted line if you choose, I colored mine in.

Add any other elements you choose.

Apply Drop Shadow of choice.

Now crop your image to your choosing.

Once cropped re-size to 650 X 550

I choose Julius B Thyssen for my font

With a light color from my tag as my Foreground and black as my Background

Use tag as example for placement of name

Add copyright layer and save as PNG file.

Change the blend mode to Luminance and Opacity to 54%

Open Skull Chain 1 and copy it to tag, position it using my tag as example

Duplicate it and mirror it. You will have to move it to get it positioned correctly

Open Barbed Wire Heart 1, re-size it by 50%, and re-size by 50% a second time

Copy and paste it using my tag for example of placement

Duplicate it and mirror it. You will have to move it to get it positioned correctly

Open Doodle 1, re-size it by 80 %, copy and paste it as a new layer below wordart

Open Sparkles, copy and paste as a new layer just above the rectangle layer

Duplicate and flip, move until you are satisfied.

Add anything else you would like

Apply drop shadow at your discretion

Crop image to your liking

Re-size to 700 x 553

Don't forget the copyright

Save as PNG.

To add the tube inside the frame,

Highlight the frame layer, then select none, using your magic wand tool, click inside the left end frame

Copy a closeup of your tube there, invert and delete, select none.

Duplicate the tube and mirror. Merge down into one layer.

Change the blend mode to luminance (L), and change the opacity to 60 %

Copy and past tube of choice, use my tag for placement

Open crush_flower3, copy and paste as new layer, re-size layer by 10%

Duplicate flower and place it side by side the first one, then merge down.

Duplicate newly merged flowers and mirror, then merge down

Open crush_butterflies swirl, copy and paste as new layer below main tube, re-size by 75%

Open crush_stitching2, copy and paste as a new layer below flowers, you will have to adjust this a little for it to fit on the rectangle

Open crush_flower, copy and past as a new layer, re-size by 25 %

Add any other items of your choosing.

Apply drop shadow with above settings where you like.

Crop image to your liking

Re-size image to 700 x 483

Remember to add the copyright information

Save as png

So I saw this posted on Misfits and it reminded me of a email I received a while ago. I love it and want to share it with you.

Just A Mom

A woman, renewing her driver's license at the County Clerk's office, was
asked by the woman recorder to state her occupation.
She hesitated, uncertain how to classify herself.

"What I mean is, " explained the recorder, "do you have a job or are you
just a ....?"

"Of course I have a job," snapped the woman. "I'm a Mom."

"We don't list 'Mom' as an occupation, Housewife' covers it,” Said the recorder emphatically.

I forgot all about her story until one day I found myself in the same situation, this time at our own Town Hall.

The Clerk was obviously a career woman, poised, efficient, and possessed of a high sounding title like, "Official Interrogator" or "Town Registrar."

"What is your occupation?" she probed.

What made me say it? I do not know… the words simply popped out.
"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations."

The clerk paused, ball-point pen frozen in midair and looked up as though she had not heard right.

I repeated the title slowly emphasizing the most significant words. Then I stared with wonder as my pronouncement was written, in bold, black ink on the official questionnaire.

"Might I ask," said the clerk with new interest, "just what you do in your field?"

Coolly, without any trace of fluster in my voice, I heard myself reply, "I have a continuing program of research, (what mother doesn't) in the laboratory and in the field,(normally I would have said indoors and out).
I'm working for my Masters, (first the Lord and then the whole family) and already have four credits (all daughters). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities, (any mother care to disagree?) and I often work 14 hours a day, (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers and the rewards are more about the satisfaction rather than just money."

There was an increasing note of respect in the Clerk's' voice as she completed the form, stood up, and personally ushered me to the door.

As I drove into our driveway, buoyed up by my glamorous new career, I was greeted by my lab assistants -- ages 13, 7, and 3. Upstairs I could hear our new experimental model, (a 6 month old baby) in the child development program, testing out a new vocal pattern.

I felt I had scored a beat on bureaucracy! And I had gone on the official records as someone more distinguished and indispensable to mankind than "just another Mom."

Motherhood! What a glorious career! Especially when there's a title on the door.

Does this make Grandmothers "Senior Research Associates in the field of Child Development and Human Relations"

And Great-grandmothers "Executive Senior Research Associates"?

I think so!!!

I also think it makes Aunts "Associate Research Assistants."

Change blend mode to dissolve and opacity to 74%

Open sparkle 2, paste as new layer, place it as you like

Open flower 1, re-size by 50%, paste as a new layer using my tag for placement

Open black cat 2, re-size by 75%, paste as a new layer using my tag for placement

Add any drop shadow you would like

Now add your copyright

Add anything else you would like

Crop image just outside of all tag area

Re-size total image to 700 x 507

Save image as a png file.

Change the canvas size to 800 x 800, we will re-size again later

Highlight layer 3, copy and paste paper 04, invert & delete, merge down

For mine, I repositioned where the stars were in a line.

Highlight Layer8, copy and paste paper 13, invert & delete, merge down

For mine, I moved till the lower left corner was just below my circle prior to inverting

Highlight Layer 5, copy and paste paper 8, invert & delete, merge down

Merge Frame and Frame copy together

Highlight the new Frame 2 layer, copy and paste paper 8, invert & delete, merge down

Now for a tricky part, click all layers where they are no longer visible

Un-click the following, Small rectangle2 copy 5, 4, 3

Merge visible, change name to Left merged

then click that invisible too, its time to do the other side

Un-click the following, small rectangle 2, small rectangle 2 copy, rectangle 2 copy 2

Merge visible, change name to right merged

then click that invisible too, its time to do the frames

Un-click Small frame 2, frame 2 copy, frame2 copy 2

Merge visible, change name to right frame

then click that invisible too, its time to do the other side

Un-click Small frame 2 copy 3, 4, 5

Merge visible, change name to left frame

Then un-click them all and you are back to seeing all layers.

Highlight Right Merged, copy and paste tube of choice, rearrange until it suits you, invert & delete

Change Blend mode to Lumianance (L) and down to 72% Opacity

Merge down

Repeat steps above on the left side

Copy and paste tube into the center of tag, use mine as example.

Open Blue Star Sparkle, re-size it to 75%

Copy and paste, use my tag as example of placement

Duplicate it, mirror, you might have to adjust it a little, merge down

Open rwbsplash, place it below the tube at the top of tag

Open redsparkle, whitesparkle, bluesparkle.

Merge the three together. I moved mine below my rectangle so that it looked as if she was laying in a bed of sparkle

Open Bow 5, re-size by 75 % twice

Copy and paste as new layer

Crop image, get rid of all the excess space.

Add drop shadow where you would like

Now add your copyright

Add anything else you would like

re-size total image to 700 x 583

Save image as a png file.

flood fill it with a gradient of black/silver/white, see below for an example

add noise using the following as example

Highlight Rectangle layer, Raster 4

copy and paste paper DBV Black and White Misfits paper (2)

click invert then delete, merge layer down

Highlight raster 5. flood fill with same gradient as above.

add noise using the following settings

Add, Gradient Glow to as many layers as desired, used the settings below

Highlight word-art layer, flood-fill white add noise, same settings as above, repeat

Open DBV Black and white Misfits elements (8), copy and paste

re-size by 75%

Duplicate, mirror. a little reposition may be needed

Merge down so that both flowers are on the same layer

open DBV Black and white Misfits elements (4)

copy and paste on new layer

re-size by 50%

Copy and paste tube of choice, re-size if needed

Add drop shadow as desired with the following settings

Add Gradient glow as desired with the above settings.

Now add your copyright

So this is my way of honoring all those who have fraught for this country I call home. OK, so I don't know how many out there are Twilight fans. Now as far as vampire stories this doesn't hold true to some of the more true aspects of vampirism but hey lets not debate that right now. For a book that was written for young adults it was good. She didn't write it with the intention of drawing in adult readers. But Edward and Bella's story is a story that so many people often want. I might actually have to blog my thoughts on her books one day. We shall see.

Hello everyone.

For those who do not know me, my name is Alisha. Most online know me better by LostDarkAngel but I go by Lost now. I'm not new to blogging but I never really kept it up. So, here I am going to try, yet again. Only this time I will also include my designs. As I grow as a designer I will also include, templates on to tuts and maybe even kits themselves. time will tell what all this blog will have. I have high hopes for it.

Ok, on to me. Well lets see, I'm 28 years young. The fact that 30 is sneaking up on me every day is bugging the crap out of me. I know I know, age isn't anything but a number but some days it really bothers me. But thats a story for another day.

I am a stay at home mother of a 2 year old little girl. She is a handful but I would have it any other way. I love her dearly.

I've been psping now for a little over a year and am 100% addicted. I love it. I'm still new to some parts of it, but I learn fast. After much thinking I decided to open this blog. Here I can not only share my work but also pass on work from others as well.
